How the Ranked Points System Works
Understand how kills, final placement, and deaths affect your score — and why surviving matters more than it seems.

Many people play ranked without understanding how scoring works, which leads to bad decisions in key moments. Here is the practical summary.
How Points Are Calculated
- Each kill gives fixed points, but the value drops if you die soon after
- Final placement (Top 1, Top 3, Top 10...) gives more points the better the finish
- Dying early (outside Top 10) removes points from your total
- Squad and solo/duo have different scoring tables
Seasons and Reset
Ranked partially resets each new season — your rank drops a few steps, but you keep some progress. That means climbing is usually easier early in the season.
If your only goal is climbing rank, play for survival (Top 3+) instead of hunting kills — the point return is usually more consistent.
In high ranks (Heroic/Grandmaster), early death point loss is much harsher — play more defensively the higher your rank.
