Shani is what you might call self-taught. Her parents were killed in an explosion when she was 18, and she lost everything she had. She spent some years wandering, doing all kinds of odd jobs to survive. That is when she met the owner of a junkyard, who took her in and showed her a place she could call home. There she began working with scrap and her gadgets, which makes her feel fulfilled.
